North avoca shark attack-This evening,a 28-year-old man,who lived near the beach was attacked by a shark on North Avoca Beach while surfing on the beach. The attack was extremely uncommon and the victim have never known of a shark attack on North Avoca.
When the victim was in shallow surf about 8pm he reported feeling his hand pulled under his board. The shark was brown and about as long as his surfboard. The victim was taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition. The man was in a satisfactory condition and doctors were taking X-rays of his arm.
